Pocillopora ankeli

Scheer and Pillai, 1974

Colonies are small and compact with short knobby branches. Verrucae are small and crowded. Corallites are crowded on verrucae.

Colour: Dark rust-brown or greenish-brown.

Habitat: Shallow reef environments.

Abundance: Common on exposed reef fronts.

Similar species: Pocillopora kelleheri , Pocillopora meandrina
