Psammocora verrilli

Vaughan, 1907

Colonies are encrusting. Corallites are mostly in individual shallow depressions. Septo-costae are thin, with septa fused into groups. Petaloid septo-costae are inconspicuous. Columellae are well developed.

Colour: Brown.

Habitat: Rocky foreshores.

Abundance: Rare.

Similar species: Psammocora superficialis
