Montipora verrilli

Vaughan, 1907

Colonies are thin and encrusting. Corallites are approximately one millimetre diameter and are mostly submerged in the coenosteum. Corallite papillae are evenly spaced.

Colour: Brown with blue centres (which may photograph pink).

Habitat: Reef flats.

Abundance: Sometimes common.

Similar species: Montipora effusa
