Porites somaliensis

Gravier, 1911

Colonies are massive, hemispherical, with a knobbly surface and may be several metres across.

Colour: Pale brown.

Habitat: Shallow reef environments.

Abundance: Rare, except at Cocos (Keeling) Atoll.

Similar species: Porites lutea , Porites stephensoni
